As a Warehouse Operations Manager (m / f / d) you will report to the Country Logistics Manager in the Logistics department based in Rivalta Scrivia (RIV) for a permanent contract.

In the role you plan, develop, organise, coordinate and control all physical, administrative and accounting activities in the warehouse. The position holder manages and coordinates the clerical staff and manages relations with ADECCO with the aim of ensuring daily execution in accordance with customer order processing plans. You e nsure the preservation and protection of goods, the environment and equipment as well as the compliance with all applicable regulations, including those relating to safety and hygiene at work. You optimise the use of resources, ensuring their constant efficiency and effectiveness and that pre-set service levels are achieved and maintained. You m anage and coordinate internal staff and the contractor according to inbound and outbound flows.

What will you do?

  • Co-ordinate with other company departments for the medium-term planning and scheduling of reception and dispatch activities as well as with ADECCO (site manager) for annual, monthly, weekly and daily forecasts of the activities to be carried out, including new requirements and occasional activities.
  • Validate the daily work schedules in accordance with the company's requirements and formally assigns their execution to the handling company.
  • Define in detail the Operating Instructions and Procedures for the individual warehouse activities and continuously verify their application and compliance.
  • Organize the operations and storage systems, in order to optimise the flow of goods and space occupancy, including any additional spaces in service (overstock).
  • Liaise on an ongoing basis with key customers and visit them to verify the perceived level of service.
  • Analyze the requirements in terms of equipment and anything else needed for operational improvement and promote & support the Management in researching new storage and handling systems, new optimisation SW, new HW and automatic identification systems.

What about you?

  • You hold a relevant degree of an Engineering school or similar
  • You have got several years of Logistics / Supply Chain experience and strong leadership skills
  • You are able to coach and develop your team members and monitor their work closely
  • Your high customer orientation comes hand in hand with your solution orientation and urge to improve processes constantly
  • You are used to work in an international environment and speakt fluent English (C1)
