As an e-commerce Marketplace, Metro Markets GmbH works with hundreds of suppliers, Vendors and Sellers (Online businesses that choose our Marketplace to sell their products) within Germany, Europe and beyond, managing thousands of products to deliver on our customer’s needs while providing great service.

As the “Warehouse Manager” you will be responsible for, but not limited to: Managing daily Operations - control and manage intakes, order processing, returns, inventory control, and space management; Continuous optimization of the warehouse; Planning and optimization; Labor planning and productivity management; Complete facility management of warehouse; Ensuring logistics KPIs are set and met; Quality control in all areas (inbound, packing etc.); Recruiting a warehouse team; Expense control for all warehouse operations expenses, including budgeting, forecasting and accruals; and Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety legislation.

You've got

• Set priorities, explain ideas, delegate responsibilities and give open and honest feedback
• Good knowledge of change management and leading in the unknown/exploring
• Analytical skills along with understanding of budget, cost and key performance indicators and how to use them to plan, follow up and steer the business
• Proactive and goal orientated
• Min. 3 – 5 years management experience in a similar role or warehouse management
• Proven ability to lead and motivate others
• Customer Service and customer experience oriented
• Fluent in both English and Italian
• Solution-Oriented mindset.
