Too Good To Go, the world's leading app for fighting food waste, is seeking a VP Operations Europe to drive growth and manage operations across key regions. This role involves leading teams, managing P&L, and advocating for sustainability within the food industry. Join a passionate team dedicated to making a positive impact on the planet.
More than one third of the food produced in the world is wasted, impacting the health of our planet, with 10% of greenhouse gas emissions stemming from food waste. At Too Good To Go, our ambitious goal is to inspire and empower everyone to fight food waste together. We are the world's #1 app for this cause, collaborating with thousands of restaurants and food retailers to make surplus food available to local consumers. Our efforts have expanded rapidly across Europe and the US, saving over 131 million meals across 17 countries to date. While proud of our achievements, we recognize the scale of the issue and continuously aim to raise the bar. We are seeking a dedicated professional to join us in this mission.
Too Good To Go is a successful scale-up with a solid business model, but the problem is vast. The faster we grow, the greater our impact. In this role, you will be crucial in enabling rapid scaling while maintaining excellence. We believe growth is best achieved by scaling with structure and nurturing local entrepreneurial spirit. Reporting to the COO, this role holds regional responsibility and is part of the COO management team.
The role can be based at any of our European offices.
As VP Operations Europe, you will lead, support, and challenge some of the larger countries in scaling Too Good To Go. You will have full P&L responsibility for your area, represent the company in key account meetings, and support local account management. You will steer countries towards ambitious growth, develop local leadership, and lead a diverse team of country managers. You will be a key member of the COO management team, responsible for countries beyond the initial expansion phase, and a strategic partner to the COO. Additionally, you will advocate for our mission, influencing food waste reduction and the ecosystem.
We take recruitment seriously; please read everything carefully and submit your application accordingly.
