PositionThe position is based in our HQ in Rome. The Visual Merchandising Project Manager & Windows Designer will report to the VM Sr Project Manager & Windows Designer and will support the Team in planning, organizing and implementing WW Windows installation activities at a Worldwide level.
- Main responsibilities_
- Windows Décor
- Review window order booklet and render all network windows for precise window kit ordering for all schemes;
- Initiate conference calls with local VM and Contractors to review technical booklets for each scheme;
- Plan and execute WW window installation schedule with regional VM’s for all stores;
- Challenge the quality of installation by Regional VM’s and provide alternative solutions.
- Communication / Guideline
- Develop strong communication and working relationship with local VM project managers;
- Communicate Key VM window initiatives to Regional VM network in collaboration with Visual M Director;
- Provide artistic direction, support and solutions to regional teams;
- Request and compile window photos from each store to review with Regional VM team on quality and execution, send photos and feedback to HQ team after completion of each scheme.
- Special Window & Store Initiatives
- Collaborate with Visual Merchandising Director on creative visual aspects of special window, store openings, and other store window initiatives;
- Work with Regional VM’s and Store managers on visual aspects of special window and other store Openings.
- Budget Management & Process
- Control, update, monitor and manage VM window budget (finance / region / HQ);
- Evaluate, negotiate and challenge all VM vendor partnerships.
- Profile
- Bachelor degree or equivalent;
- At least 4 years Retail visual merchandising / window installation experience in a multi-store format preferred;
- Strong knowledge and skill of AUTOCAD / RHINO, Adobe Creative Suites (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat), Power Point, Word, Excel, Cinema 4D;
- Very organized, with keen attention-to-detail
- Capacity to have a critical approach
- Sense of urgency and ability to reprioritize efficiently
- Good communication skills (both oral and written)
- Digital photography required
- Fluent English - speaking and writing
