We are seeking to appoint a passionate, dedicated, and motivated Visual Arts Teacher to join our growing Middle and High School Team, starting from September 2025!

The ideal candidate will possess excellent subject knowledge and be able to combine academic achievement with a passion for the subject to enhance learning outcomes. The candidate should be a native English speaker or have equivalent proficiency, with proven experience teaching Middle and High School students. Familiarity with experiential, project-based learning, and IB programs inquiry would be advantageous.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

1. Teach visual arts and art history in English, and contribute to extracurricular activities.
2. Promote the school’s mission and philosophy, fostering students’ development as global citizens.
3. Ensure high-quality planning, preparation, assessment, and reporting tailored to students’ diverse needs.
4. Create an inclusive classroom environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves.
5. Manage classroom behavior effectively.
6. Demonstrate thorough curriculum knowledge, teach effectively, and monitor student progress.
7. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, representing the school positively.
8. Take responsibility for ongoing professional development.
9. Contribute to curriculum planning and development.
10. Be flexible and responsive to the school’s evolving needs.
11. Ensure adherence to school policies.
12. Supervise students outside of classroom hours as needed.

Education & Training

1. Master’s Degree in Art or related field.
2. Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent international teaching qualification.
3. Eligibility to teach secondary school students.
4. Proven success in teaching and assessing mathematics and physics across various curricula.
5. Knowledge of IB curriculum is a plus.
6. Mother tongue English or C2 proficiency level.
7. Knowledge of Italian is advantageous.
