Position Purpose:

As a Vessel Equipment Engineer within the Asset Based Services business line, you will be involved in the maintenance and management of vessel equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform maintenance and control of mechanical production equipment.
  • Ensure equipment efficiency and prepare maintenance plans with spare parts management.
  • Manage the deck mechanic team, ensuring safety and quality compliance.
  • Provide training to personnel and supervise maintenance operations.
  • Coordinate with offshore teams to ensure continuous equipment operation.
  • Define maintenance priorities and schedule maintenance activities.
  • Manage spare parts inventory to ensure work continuity.
  • Prepare equipment for project operations and preserve equipment during standby periods.
  • Handle equipment demobilization and documentation at project completion.
  • Report incidents and near-misses, and conduct safety talks and job safety analyses as needed.
Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience

Technical Skills: Proficiency in software for preventive maintenance management
