This role involves managing mechanical equipment maintenance and supervising field operations to ensure optimal efficiency. Candidates should possess a High School Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and have 3-5 years of relevant experience, with a willingness to work offshore.

Purpose of the Position

As a Vessel Equipment Engineer in the Asset Based Services business line, you will be involved in:

  1. Carrying out maintenance and control of all mechanical production equipment.
  2. Ensuring the efficiency of production equipment.
  3. Preparing maintenance plans and managing spare parts.
  4. Managing the deck mechanic team in accordance with safety and quality procedures.
  5. Providing training to personnel.
  6. Managing equipment to ensure continuous operation through maintenance and repairs.
  7. Supervising and coordinating offshore mechanics and foremen.
  8. Defining maintenance priorities and schedules.
  9. Managing spare parts stock levels.
  10. Preparing equipment for project operations and ensuring preservation during long stand-by periods.
  11. Handling equipment packing and preservation at project completion.
  12. Reporting near-misses and incidents.
  13. Conducting Toolbox Talks and Job Safety Analyses as needed.
Candidate Profile

Education: High School Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Experience: 3-5 years

Technical Skills: Proficiency in software for preventive maintenance and office tasks

Additional Information: Willingness to work offshore on rotation, both nationally and internationally.
