Ohb Italia in Lombardia seeks a Verification and Validation Software Engineer for Flyeye telescope software, leading V&V activities from design to deployment and coordinating with software and systems teams on site.

You will install and configure system software and site integration tools, design test plans and automated suites, execute V&V across the lifecycle, identify defects, and ensure ECSS standards compliance in an international field deployment.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related engineering discipline.
• Proven experience in software verification & validation or similar role.
• Knowledge of verification and validation methodologies (functional, integration, system, regression, performance).
• Ability to understand software-hardware-operational interactions during commissioning.
• Structured log analysis, anomaly resolution, and test execution.
• Good communication and cross-team coordination skills.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Availability for frequent international travel and on-site deployment support.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication across multidisciplinary teams.
• Proactive coordination of activities and issues.

You will lead verification, validation, and commissioning activities on site, coordinating with software and systems teams. Your work improves software quality and supports successful field deployment of advanced telescope systems.
