Ohb Italia is seeking a Verification and Validation SW Engineer to lead test planning, execution and troubleshooting from design to deployment on telescope software systems. You will coordinate with software and systems teams, performing V&V across the lifecycle and ensuring ECSS standards compliance in an international, high-tech environment.

Candidates should have strong English skills, wheelhouse in Python and C/C++, and experience with Windows/Linux, with willingness to frequent

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related engineering discipline.
• Proven experience in software verification & validation or similar role.
• Knowledge of verification and validation methodologies (functional, integration, system, regression, performance).
• Ability to understand software-hardware-operational interactions during commissioning.
• Structured log analysis, anomaly resolution, and test execution.
• Good communication and cross-team coordination skills.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Availability for frequent international travel and on-site deployment support.

In this role you ensure the Flyeye telescope software meets specs and performs reliably from design to deployment. You will lead verification, validation, and commissioning activities on site, coordinating with software and systems teams. Your work improves software quality and supports successful field deployment of advanced telescope systems.
