Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, responsible for organizing, promoting, and communicating the sporting and cultural events related to the Games.

We are driven by values such as respect, determination, legacy, engagement, and sustainability.

The Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history, involving 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities, over an area of 22,000 km².

The organizing committee was established in 2019, in accordance with the Host City Contract signed by the IOC, the cities of Milano and Cortina, and CONI. It involves partners like the Italian Paralympic Committee, Lombardy and Veneto regions, and the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen, supported by the Italian Government.

Position

The Venue Security Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the security of our venues, managing operational resources, coordinating, and deploying security personnel before, during, and after the Games. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical infrastructure security, close protection, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to operate in complex environments.

Responsibilities
  • Infrastructure Physical Security Management: Collaborate with security teams and stakeholders to address venue security needs, understanding Olympic and Paralympic event requirements.
  • Staff Allocation and Deployment: Coordinate deployment of security personnel based on workload, schedules, and risk profiles, ensuring efficient resource use and adherence to security standards.
  • Flexibility: Adapt to changing priorities and respond swiftly to emerging security needs.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Review workforce data, identify trends, and prepare reports on staffing and performance metrics.
Requirements
  • Preferred bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Fluency in English and Italian.
  • Proven experience in security roles within medium to large companies or events.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of security protocols and risk management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Availability for business travel.
