Job Description:

We are seeking a Project Management Engineer.

Location: Torino

Responsibilities:

  • Operate within the Global Combat Air Programme, within the Flight Systems Engineering Integration Team, an international group comprising employees from partner companies forming the Joint Venture acting as the prime contractor.
  • Support the definition of schedules and planning activities for the design and development of flight system subsystems across three countries.
  • Develop and maintain the Flight Systems Engineering Integration Team schedule with technical input from team members.
  • Monitor activity progress through regular status updates.
  • Report progress to the Flight Systems Engineering Integration Team and higher management, including inputs to the earned value management process.
  • Coordinate with team members and subsystem teams to identify project assumptions, dependencies, risks, and opportunities, ensuring information is harmonized and validated.
  • Assist the Team Leader with project management tasks such as defining Statements of Work, preparing proposals, and assessing team sizes, interfacing with procurement, supply chain, and manufacturing functions as needed.

Education: Master’s degree in STEM, preferably in Operations Management Engineering.

Seniority: Junior

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of project management processes from planning to monitoring and reporting.
  • Familiarity with earned value management principles.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
  • Knowledge of aerospace/aeronautical topics is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; MS Project is mandatory.

  • Resilient under stress and capable of long-term work under pressure.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

Languages:
