Job summary

EDAG Italia is seeking a skilled System Project Leader Body to provide high-quality technical support for vehicle integration, quality and troubleshooting activities.

You will lead the development of exterior/body components, coordinate cross-functional teams and suppliers, identify risks, drive corrective actions, and ensure documentation, validation planning, and production readiness across the program in Italy.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in automotive product development, focus on Exterior/Body & Closures, Chassis & Trims.
• Strong knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and assembly technologies.
• Familiarity with CAD tools (CATIA) and PLM systems.
• Experience in project management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.
• Experience in luxury brands and/or supercars development is welcome.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of assigned automotive components and systems, meeting quality, performance, timing, and cost targets.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and suppliers to ensure design robustness and manufacturability.
• Identify technical risks and deviations, driving corrective actions to meet objectives.
• Coordinate Design and Installation FMEAs and support process FMEA activities.
• Ensure completeness of technical documentation for tooling release, sourcing and production readiness.
• Contribute to system validation planning, coordinate test reviews, and drive issue resolution.
• Manage engineering changes, documentation, cost evaluations, and drawing releases.
• Drive diagnostic activities and support problem-solving from pilot to production.
• Define technical specifications and ensure engineering documentation quality and sourcing packages.
• Promote innovation, product optimization, and continuous improvement within the area.
