Accountabilities

The rule will require to understand vehicle system functions and analyse the diagnostic and maintenance data with the scope to:

• identify the cause of the fault and support the maintenance staff to repair it.
• Support the driver to manage the fault when it happens with the scope to reduce its effect on the vehicle mission.
• define requirements to develop algorithms that generate Automatic work orders to maintenance staff
• support design department to improve vehicle system design and functions
• support maintenance engineer department to improve maintenance plan and procedures

Required Skills/Knowledge

It is our expectation that successful applicants should be able to demonstrate all of the experience and skills listed below:

• From 2 to 4 years of experience in railway vehicle systems design or Vehicle maintenance engineer
• Expert to interpret electrical drawing, pneumatic drawings, system specification software specification and mechanical drawings
• Understanding of RCM principles and methodology
• Expert in Railway vehicle system functions
• Expert to analyze and correlate data from different sources (e.i. vehicle diagnostic events, maintenance reports, etc)
• Expert to define maintenance and troubleshooting procedures
• Able to perform statistical analysis including quality control.
• Able to use diagnostic tool
• Problem solving

Education/Qualifications

Electrical, Mechanical or Automation Engineering master Degree or equivalent technical background or equivalent technical background

Languages

Fluent Knowledge of English (written & spoken).
