Visa Cash App Racing Bulls F1 Team is seeking a composite manufacturing support specialist to release lamination flat patterns and define ply layups for car parts. You will coordinate with Design, Production and Quality Control to ensure compliance with internal rules and procedures.

You will also assist Composite R&D Engineers by releasing layup information to Production and supporting CAD-based tooling and software tools for plybook compilation.

Qualifications

• Technical High School diploma in Mechanics.
• Good understanding of composite design and production processes using prepregs.
• Basic knowledge of Lectra digitalize module.
• Basic knowledge of software tools for plybook compiling (Corel Draw).
• Basic knowledge of ply draping, layup simulation and nesting tools (Fibersim, Design Concept).
• Basic knowledge of CAD systems.
• Ability to work with the team and pro-active attitude.
• Good communication skills in Italian and English.

Responsibilities

• Define nesting of flat patterns and model ply layup using NX-CAD, Fibersim, Laminate Tools.
• Compile and release plybooks for car parts production; interact with Design, Production, Quality Control and Car Assembly departments.
• Release lamination flat patterns compliant with internal rules, procedures and processes.
• Support Composite R&D Engineers to release layup information to Production as required.

In this role you will be responsible for releasing lamination flat patterns of the assigned car parts towards production department. You will define the plies flat patterns which are compliant to internal rules, procedures and processes for the carbon component manufacturing. Finally, you may support Composite R&D Engineers to release layup information to the Production department for some car parts.

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:

Digital Lay-up

Define nesting of the flat patterns. Model the plies layup using the available software tools (NX-CAD, Fibersim, Laminate Tools, Composite Design). Compile and release plybooks for car parts production whenever requested. Interact with the other departments (Design, Production, Quality Control, Car assembly dept).

Professionalism

Provide flexible attendance and attitude to work, both in line with the requirements of the role and any specific requirements of the projects. To work in a professional manner at all times regardless of the task set and be pro-active in promoting a positive image for the department / team/ sponsors. To maintain and develop good relationships with other departments.
