Overview :

The primary purpose is to support the sales process to ensure that the assigned sales revenues for the designated area are achieved in collaboration with the local team. This is to be accomplished by implementing sales, pricing, and contracting strategies agreed upon with the Vascular team.

Responsibilities

  1. The main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  2. Manage the Business
  3. Lead and manage local commercial customer interactions to identify sales opportunities in collaboration with the clinical team.
  4. Follow the country commercial plan as defined by the Manager, Commercial Business.
  5. Manage pricing, contracting, and tender tasks within the allocated region to protect and grow current business and create new commercial opportunities.
  6. Ensure that customer or third-party catalog pricing systems are aligned with Cook pricing systems to facilitate order processing and timely invoice payments.
  7. Demonstrate knowledge of the bidding and ordering process within customer accounts and seek to improve this process when applicable.
  8. Utilize supply chain solutions and data to enhance customer experience and demonstrate value.
  9. Gather and share competitor data to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities.
  10. Ensure delivery of services as per contractual agreements from both Cook and customer sides.
  11. Identify, establish, and develop relationships with key decision-makers in hospitals to facilitate improved commercial discussions.
  12. Collaborate closely with the entire commercial team to meet or exceed commercial targets and KPIs such as margin, adherence to pricing principles, and ROI, aligned with business plans and guidelines.
  13. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the Vascular product range, relevant medical disciplines, and associated commercial tools and systems.
  14. Follow up on customer requests and commitments, hold meetings to review these, and communicate feedback to the supporting team.
  15. Participate in local and international exhibitions and meetings as needed.
  16. Maintain our culture, values, and commitment to Ethics and Compliance by adhering to Cook’s Code of Conduct.
  17. Ensure all quality, regulatory, and product-specific requirements are met within your scope of responsibility.
  18. Conduct business with integrity and in compliance with applicable standards and policies.
  19. Work effectively with sales, commercial teams, and support functions to provide excellent customer service and achieve business outcomes.
  20. Understand customer structures, roles, and responsibilities to enhance collaboration and commercial opportunities.
  21. Seek support when necessary, demonstrating awareness and judgment.

Qualifications :

  • Previous experience in medical sales and commercial roles preferred.
  • Ability to meet frequently with customers and decision-makers.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
  • Proven strong commercial and business acumen.
  • Product or procedural knowledge is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English and other relevant languages, with excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Strong numerical and data analytical skills for decision-making.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Attention to detail in written and numeric documentation.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • High self-motivation and strong project management skills.
