V&V SOFTWARE AND TESTING ENGINEER - BOLOGNA-NAPOLI

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Engage in validation and testing of software/hardware for safety-critical systems.
• Participate in activities related to the V-model development cycle: Unit Test, Module Test, Integration Test, Functional Tests on Host and Target.
• Develop skills in source code manipulation, analysis, and propose or develop improvement tools.
• Contribute to creating a collaborative, supportive work environment focused on continuous improvement and human values.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Degree in engineering (preferably electronics, biomedical, computer science, telecommunications), or related fields.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: C/C++/C#/Python.
• Problem-solving skills, goal orientation, flexibility, motivation, initiative, and teamwork attitude.
• Good command of English (minimum B1 level CEFR).
• Willingness to travel within Italy and abroad.

VALUABLE ADDITIONAL QUALITIES:

• Knowledge of testing tools (Vectorcast, RTRT, etc.).
• Knowledge of Ada programming language.
• Understanding of the V-model processes, including documentation review, regulatory standards (e.g., EN50128), and requirements analysis.
• Experience with network communication protocols and analysis tools.
• Experience in system and subsystem testing.
• Familiarity with standards in railway (EN50126, EN50128, EN50129), biomedical (ISO 13485, IEC 62304), or automotive (ISO 26262).
• Basic laboratory testing instrumentation knowledge.
