About the Role

We’re looking for a UX/UI Designer to own the visual design of our mobile app for kids and their parents. You’ll be responsible for how the app looks and feels, from color, typography, and illustrations to layouts, animations, and branded UI components. You’ll partner with product, engineering, and content to bring our curriculum to life through visuals that feel fun for kids and meaningful for parents.

This position will require being on-site 5 days a week

What Success Looks Like

  • Engaging Visual Design: You’ve created playful, age-appropriate, and accessible UI that resonates with both kids and grown-ups
  • Brand Consistency: The app, website, and communications all reflect a cohesive and recognizable brand identity
  • Scalable UI System: A design system that speeds up development and supports consistency across features
  • Prototype, Test, Repeat: Conducting tests with users (parents/kids), analyzing feedback, and refining design
  • Have experience contributing to the design and successful launch of a mobile app (iOS)
  • Have a strong portfolio of shipped digital products with a focus on usability and emotion
  • Can balance simplicity and delight, especially in products for multiple user types (kids, parents, coaches)
  • You’re comfortable owning the visual layer in a cross-functional team
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Product Design, Advertising (ideally required, but not mandatory)
  • 5+ years of product or UX/UI design experience, ideally in edtech, healthtech, or consumer apps
  • Proven experience designing for and launching an app (iOS)
  • Demonstrate expertise in visual design and hands-on experience with Figma, Adobe CC, and interactive prototyping tools.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and researchers
