A leading engineering firm in Italy is seeking a Utilities & Off-sites Senior Process Engineer to coordinate the design of systems like Water Treatment and Cooling Water Systems. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas field and proficiency with tools like Aspen HYSYS. This role involves close collaboration with engineering specialists and supports during construction and commissioning phases.

Competenze

• 7 years of experience within Process and Technology & Research Department in Oil & Gas field.
• Must have knowledge of refinery utility facilities, steam generation, and wastewater treatment.

Mansioni

• Coordinate the activities of the Process team for design of Utilities & Off-site Systems.
• Interface with engineering teams and report to the Process Manager.
• Provide assistance during construction and commissioning phases.

Overview

During the execution of the project,

THE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

of the Utilities & Off-sites Senior Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Within Basic, FEED or EPC projects, coordinate the activities of the Process team dedicated to the design of the Utilities & Off-site Systems (e.g. Water Treatment System, Cooling Water System, Steam Generation System, Flare System, Tank Farm, etc.) included in the plant that is object of the study. Interface with the specialists from the engineering teams (Piping, Automation, Instrumentation, etc.) and with the Vendors and report to the Process Manager of the project.
• According to his / her expertise, the Utilities Process Engineer produces the documents / deliverables and carries out the activities of his / her competence in compliance with the time schedule, the quality requirements, the contractual and Company standards, procedures and work instructions.
• He / she interacts with the other Discipline Engineers for the Process topics of his / her expertise.
• He / she provides assistance during the construction and the commissioning phases from home office and / or at site as project needs.
• To provide feedback to the Utilities Head of Department concerning problems arising from application of standard methods and work Instructions.

Educational Background

• Knowledge of refinery utility facilities (steam generation & distribution, fuel gas systems, flare system, compressed air generation & distribution, wastewater treatment, cooling towers;
• 7 years of experience within Process and Technology & Research Department in Oil & Gas field (EPC Contractor is preferred);
• Knowledge of tools for process simulation such as Aspen HYSYS, PRO/II, UniSim, HTRI.
