Job summary

Politecnico di Milano invites applications for a Researcher role contributing to an IoT-enabled urban dispersion simulator project. The position focuses on the development of SPH-based simulations, integration with a wearable sensor network, and the creation of test scenarios to validate the tool against real-world exposure measurements.

Fluency in English and strong research output are expected. The selected fellow will work within the LaRes laboratory of DEIB on a Horizon Europe BEHOLDER

Qualifications

• PhD in engineering, physics, or a related field.
• Experience with Python and Blender for simulation work.
• Strong background in IoT and data analysis for sensor networks.

Responsibilities

• Develop an urban dispersion simulator using SPH.
• Integrate with IoT monitoring networks.
• Define test scenarios and validate the simulator.
