A research foundation in technology and innovation is offering an internship in Modeling and Simulation of Techno-Social Systems. Interns will engage in urban environment analysis using geospatial data and contribute to a project aimed at improving urban planning in Bologna. Key requirements include an academic background in relevant fields, data analysis skills, and proficiency in Python. The internship lasts 3 to 6 months without financial allowance, providing experience in a multidisciplinary team and opportunities for publication co-authorship.

Competenze

• Fluency in written and spoken English (minimum B2 level).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a research setting.

Mansioni

• Data collection and integration from OpenStreetMap and other sources.
• Construct and analyze key indicators for modeling the urban environment.
• Visualizations and tests to assess the effectiveness of proposed characterizations.
