Job summary

Inspired Education Group in Milan seeks an experienced Upper Primary Teacher to join the St. Louis School Colonna Campus from January 2027.

You will inspire critical thinking, foster responsible learning, and help students transition to secondary education through high-quality teaching in a vibrant international school community. The role requires QTS or equivalent, a degree in Education, and KS2 experience; UK National Curriculum knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• University degree in Education and teaching qualification.
• Proven experience teaching Upper Primary (Years 4–6).
• Knowledge of literacy, numeracy and cross-curricular learning at KS2.
• Ability to use assessment data effectively to drive progress.
• QTS or equivalent, EU passport or valid visa advantageous, UK National Curriculum knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons aligned with the English National Curriculum and Inspired Education ethos.
• Use formative and summative assessments to monitor progress and inform planning.
• Collaborate with colleagues across year groups to ensure continuity and progression.
• Participate in professional learning, contribute to curriculum development and support school improvement initiatives.
• Lead or assist with clubs, events or school projects.
