The Baker Hughes internship program is designed to enable students pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree, or recent graduates, to gain hands-on work experience as the foundation of their professional careers. Our internships provide first-hand insights into the processes, systems, and practices that ensure customer needs are met through flawless execution and the application of leading-edge technology.

Partner with the best

You will participate in focused training, team meetings, work on projects, and present your results. During your internship, you will be supported by a buddy and your manager to ensure a valuable learning experience. Coaching and mentoring will be provided to help you complete assignments and develop your skills.

You will also become familiar with Baker Hughes' Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) culture, as well as our strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

As an Intern, you will be responsible for:

• Completing internal projects to deliver customer outcomes and identify business improvements
• Learning internal software to assist with projects and tasks
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams and interns to interact and network with global business leaders
• Applying Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards and procedures to ensure compliance

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Be currently enrolled or recently graduated in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Engineering, Technology, Mechanics, or other STEM or business-related fields
• Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent)
• Be fluent in English, with effective communication skills
• Be legally authorized to work in the country you are applying to, without sponsorship or time restrictions
