As a Business (Financial) Planning & Analysis Manager supporting the Surgical and Vision Care franchise team, you will be trusted to drive the budget and forecast planning processes and business analysis within Italy. Please note that this role is based in the Milan’s office.

The Manager, Business Planning & Analysis (Professional Path), is primarily responsible for financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and report preparation. You will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to provide data-driven insights that guide business decisions, manage projects, and enhance operational efficiency.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Supporting the Head of Finance Surgical and Vision Care in performance analysis, budgeting and forecast activities as well as in special projects (focus on sales and GM);
• Prepare financial reports, forecasts and budgets to support business planning and decision-making (focus on sales and GM);
• Conduct analysis of internal financial data to identify trends and key business drivers;
• Develop and maintain financial models to assess the potential impact of various business scenarios and strategic initiatives;
• Collaborate with accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely month-end close, accruals and reserves;
• Assist in the development of key financial metrics and performance indicators to track business unit performance and support the development of financial strategies and recommendations to improve profitability and reduce financial risk;
• Support inventory obsolescence analysis as well as consignment stock performance;
• Business partnering with sales/marketing leadership to support deal analysis, monitor sales product trend providing valuable and timely information for any action to be taken.
• Partnering with franchise teams by delivering robust and timely financial data to guide decision-making.

What you’ll bring to Alcon:

• Universitydegreein Finance orEconomics orsimilar, Master in Business Administration preferable;
• At least 4 years experience in Financial Reporting with project management skills in an international environment;
• Excellent finance and analytical skills, Good understanding of accounting and reporting rules;
• Strong communication skills, including ability to communicate financial information to non-finance groups to drive partner engagement;
• Native Italian and fluent English is mandatory
