In this role, you will develop and manage the Italian Surety portfolio, engage with clients and brokers, and evaluate underwriting and credit risks. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in the Italian surety market, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and be fluent in Italian with proficient English. About the role

We are offering the opportunity to join our Italian Surety Team, part of Surety EMEA, as a Surety Underwriter.

• Develop the Italian Surety portfolio and assist existing and potential clients.
• Evaluate incoming surety business on underwriting and credit risk aspects.
• Perform and support activities related to client internal ratings and limits.
• Support portfolio management on the Italian book.
• Engage with brokers and clients.

About You

• At least 3 years of experience in the Italian surety market, underwriting medium and large corporates.
• Knowledge of surety risks, types of bonds, main terms and conditions.
• Ability to analyze, review, and evaluate financials and creditworthiness of clients.
• Familiarity with corporate and broker environments.
• Fluent Italian (native) and proficient English skills.
• High self-motivation and ability to work independently.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
• Team-oriented and open-minded attitude.

The salary range for Italy is between 44,000 EUR and 73,000 EUR annually for full-time employment. The offered salary will depend on the candidate's profile, qualifications, skills, and experience. Additional rewards and benefits, including a performance-based bonus, may apply.
