Job summary

Octopus Energy is hiring a UI/UX Designer for the Ancarano, Italy office. On-site, full-time, immediate availability.

You will craft intuitive digital experiences for energy customers, translate requirements into flows and wireframes, and contribute to the design system in Figma. Requirements: at least 2 years in digital product design, strong Figma skills, experience with design systems, ability to work within brand guidelines, fluent English.

Qualifications

2+ years of professional experience designing digital products.
Proficiency in Figma as the primary tool for UI/UX design, prototyping, and reviews.
Solid experience with design systems, including using, evolving, and managing scalable component libraries.
Strong understanding of design processes and adapting research/prototyping to project needs.
Ability to work within a structured design system while aligning with brand guidelines.
Fluent English.

Responsibilities

Improve the interface and usability of platform areas, shaping customer interactions with energy services.
Translate product requirements into flows, wireframes, and Figma interfaces with responsive behavior and edge cases.
Collaborate on building and maintaining the design system in Figma, including components and documentation.
Contribute to the product roadmap and share work early to gather feedback within the team.
