As an AKQA UI Designer, you will play an essential role in the strategy, conception, and design of innovative ideas, products, and services. You will bring exceptional creative thought and craftsmanship, developing and delivering projects from brief to end user.

Based in either our studio in Milan or Venice (at H-Farm Campus), you will work in an environment that fosters a meritocratic culture, encourages ownership, and surrounds you with some of the brightest minds in their fields.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

1. Champion excellent design and craft standards.
2. Demonstrate excellent execution of innovative and effective digital communications, interface design, and interaction design across various digital platforms.
3. Create style tiles, UI kits, mood boards, and style guides.
4. Ideate and co-design with peers and clients in a positive and collaborative manner.
5. Present design work confidently to stakeholders and build trusting relationships.
6. Ensure projects and tasks are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
7. Share your knowledge with wider XD and AKQA teams and mentor junior designers.
8. Stay updated with the latest design and technology trends.
9. Be capable of creating visual concepts, branding, mock-ups, iconography, presentations, and layouts across multiple platforms, including apps, websites, and campaigns.
10. Collaborate closely with the creative and UX teams.

QUALITIES AND CHARACTERISTICS

1. At least 3+ years of experience in a dedicated digital design role.
2. Previous experience with interface design.
3. Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and prototyping tools (such as Figma, Protopie, or similar).
4. Proficient in user-centered design methodologies and design thinking.
5. Knowledge of motion design is a plus but not essential.
6. Conceptual thinking skills are advantageous.
