Mission

Manage the achievement of System Completion objectives, as defined in project hand-over procedures and schedules, to facilitate plant hand-over. This includes guiding and monitoring activities across disciplines involved in the completion phase (HSE, Construction, Commissioning, Engineering, and Project Control), ensuring adherence to sequences and optimizing overall processes.

Coordinate interfaces between Construction and Commissioning Teams to ensure progressive Mechanical Completion. Lead and manage communication and reporting for all System Completion matters using the project's computerized Completion Management System.

Activities and Main Responsibilities

The main duties include:

• Coordinating, monitoring, and reporting all aspects of Mechanical Completion, including implementing the Mechanical Completion System and tools.
• Promoting actions necessary to finalize subsystems/systems for downstream pre-commissioning activities.
• Monitoring that systems/subsystems are completed according to the pre-commissioning/commissioning schedule priorities.
• Updating progress for certification and punch list closure.
• Ensuring client involvement to obtain approval for Mechanical Completion (MC) and Ready for Start-Up (RFSU), and facilitating hand-over to the client.
• Participating in handover presentation activities, if applicable.
• Ensuring all procedures related to handover are approved by the client.
• Guiding the Turn Over Team in preparing necessary documentation.
• Organizing weekly meetings with Construction/Commissioning Teams for handover completion aligned with commissioning priorities.
• Reviewing Mechanical Completion reports issued by Turn Over Engineers regularly.

When using MILEMATE!, supervise or perform activities such as:

• Arranging training for approved users.
• Coordinating with Engineering and Commissioning Teams to build the Completion Database per contractual requirements (TAG lists, check sheets, ITPs, marked-up P&ID, drawings).
• Collaborating with Test Pack and Loop Check Coordinators to upload and update test packs and loop checks.
• Ensuring check sheets are assigned to components/TAGS according to approved ITPs.
• Verifying that all check sheets are imported into MILEMATE!.
• Ensuring punch points are properly characterized before inputting into MILEMATE!.

The role reports operationally to the Site Manager.
