Partner with the best

As a Design Engineer for the Gas Turbine Fabricated Equipment team, you will be the owner of components mechanical design and, in detail, you will be responsible for :

  • Executing the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements.
  • Developing welding process simulations to be incorporated in the design phase. Evaluate residual stresses and welding effects in FEM to identify mechanical characteristics and life evaluation for crack initiation and propagation.
  • Being in constant contact with material and manufacturing engineering teams and supporting the definition of the best manufacturing processes.
  • Developing robust designs of fabricated parts in synergy with the supply chain, providing manufacturing support and continuous improvement.
  • Developing competency in the design and fabrication of structural frames, diffusers, and plenums.
  • Assuring proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and / or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures.

To be successful in this role you will :

  • Have an MSc in Aerospace, Energetic, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Have experience in an engineering position for mechanical design.
  • Have good knowledge of CAD and FEA software (e.g., Ansys).
  • Have developed interpersonal and communication skills; able to influence and motivate others.
  • Show strong instincts, tireless research, exact attention to detail, and an innovative spirit.
  • Be target-oriented, a self-starter, autonomous with an entrepreneur’s mindset.
  • Be able and willing to travel worldwide for short customer / supplier meetings and / or site / test bed support.
  • Be fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Demonstrate good knowledge of welding processes : TIG Manual / Automated, Fast TIG, Brazing, Laser, and EB - preferred.
