Purpose of the job:

Troubleshoot Alstom products at customer sites to ensure their availability. Provide technical expertise to subcontractors, warranty support teams, project team members, and less experienced personnel. Carry out troubleshooting during Product Introduction (PI), Pre-warranty, & Commissioning, including investigation and repair, and support Validation & Certification activities if applicable.

Key accountabilities:

1. Perform fleet check activities.
2. Report and register deviations (failures/events) in the Failure Management database, including configuration data.
3. Support the operation helpdesk.
4. Apply and enforce Alstom & customer EHS & security rules and relevant PI processes on customer sites.
5. Execute testing and troubleshooting procedures to evaluate system performance and perform failure analysis on parts for repair.
6. Support Implementation Field Modifications (FM operator) if required.
7. Assist with technical investigations by Engineering or external/internal Suppliers.
8. Recommend preventative and corrective actions.
9. Instruct and direct operators in field modifications and repairs as needed.
10. Advise PI management on customer satisfaction, product performance, and suggest product enhancements.
11. Ensure effective communication about interventions and operations within Troubleshooting to support shift transitions if needed.
12. Lead Troubleshooter team if required.
13. Conduct peer reviews of PI activities and provide technical leadership upon request.
14. Contribute to the Return of Experience process.
