Job summary

Haier Europe seeks a Treasury and Risk Manager to lead a small team in Sassari, Sardinia, coordinating daily cash management and shaping FX and commodity risk strategies. You will implement hedging using Bloomberg, SAP and Piteco, while aligning with auditors and banks in a fast-changing, collaborative environment.

The role combines hands-on analysis with medium-term financial planning, working with cross-functional teams to optimize liquidity, reporting, and risk controls across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance.
• 7–8 years of treasury or finance experience.
• Experience with TMS (Piteco) and SAP.
• Excel proficiency and Bloomberg tools usage.
• Italian and English fluency.

Responsibilities

• Lead treasury-oriented team (2–4 people) for daily cash management.
• Oversee long-term FX and commodity risk strategy.
• Oversee risk reporting, MTM, settlements and hedge accounting.
• Implement hedging strategies (forwards, options, collars).
• Lead risk management software implementation and usage.
• Support short/medium-term cash forecasting and subsidiary coordination.
• Negotiate credit lines and manage banking relationships.

Job description

In this role you will support Haier Europe’s treasury and risk activities to enable sustainable growth. You will lead a treasury-oriented team, coordinate cash management, and shape FX and commodity risk strategies. You will implement risk tools, oversee reporting and hedge activities, and work closely with banks and auditors. The position offers impact across daily operations and medium-term financial planning in a fast-changing, collaborative environment.

• Manage daily/monthly risk reporting, MTM, accounting, settlements, and hedge accounting including budgeting
• Implement hedging strategies (orders, forwards, options, collars)
• Lead risk management software implementation and daily usage
• Support short/medium-term cash forecasting and subsidiary coordination
• Manage banking loan withdrawals and interest
• Oversee factoring programs and onboarding of new ones
• Coordinate internal and external auditors and regional accounting for treasury-related statements
• Maintain day-to-day relationships with financial institutions/banks
• Negotiate short/medium-long term credit lines and drawdowns
• Support cash flow forecasting and finance planning including FX/interest budgeting
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance (or related field)
• 7-8 years of relevant experience
• Experience with TMS (Piteco) and SAP
• Excel fluency
• Experience with Bloomberg tools (or equivalent) with Excel-linked formulas
• Experience with a risk management tool such as Myrios (strong plus)
• IT orientation, Swift/File Act could be a plus
