Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for a travel assignment in Florence, Alabama. This 6-week engagement provides 36 guaranteed hours per week on a 3x12 night schedule (19:00-07:30) at a skilled nursing facility.

Local candidates only will be considered, with a start date of 10/26/2026. Responsibilities include medication administration, resident monitoring, and collaboration with the care team to ensure high-quality patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Active Alabama LPN license.
• Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• Local candidates only.
• Ability to work 3x12 night schedule (19:00–07:30) and provide 36 hours weekly.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per orders and care plans.
• Monitor residents' conditions, assess changes, and document vitals and observations.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and daily care tasks.
• Maintain accurate nursing notes and charting; ensure compliance with policies.
• Report changes in resident status to supervising nurse or physician promptly.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support resident care and safety.
