A luxury travel agency in Italy is seeking a Travel Designer to create personalized itineraries for high-end clients primarily from North America and Australia. The role involves detailed pricing, client communication, and managing operations. Candidates should possess extensive knowledge of the Puglia region and have a fluent command of English. This position requires both office and remote work depending on the season.

PRINICPLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Travel Design

Creation of tailor made itineraries for luxury, experiential travel in Southern Italy for travel agents, direct clients and partner DMCs. Clients are English-speaking, principally from North America and Australia.

Travel Design role will include :

• Itinerary design involving experiences and accommodation using our management software;
• Excel pricing of individual trips including application of margins, exchange rates and agency commission;
• Detailed, professional and efficient correspondence (phone & email) with clients;
• Pro-active follow ups with dormant enquiries using our CRM (direct clients, agents & tour operators)
• Assignment of all additional operational details to the Operations & Booking Department
• Coordination of client documents to agents;

Coordination with Admin department for client invoices and payments

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Management of client feedback
• Creation of new experiences and product development

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Great Knowledge of Puglia region in its geography, logistics and players of the high-end tourist industry
• Fluency in both written and spoken English (C1 level)
• Full expertise of Office softwares (Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Problem-solving and pro-active attitude
• Ability to work and perform under pressure
• Excellent time management

Office Presence in Polignano a Mare

• For the months of May, June, Sept & Oct : to be available at the office everyday Mon-Fri;
• For all other months : to be available at the office 3 times a week; 2 days per week to work from home / remotely

The above criteria will remain flexible and subject to changed based on work volumes. Criteria will be discussed each semester, along with a performance review.

Holidays

Holidays are encouraged in the months of July, August, Nov and Dec and all statutory leave must be taken in the appropriate year.
