ABOUT TOSCA Tosca is a global leader in reusable packaging and pooling solutions that service the supply chain end to end. Re-use is the key word as Tosca facilitates moving away from single use packaging towards a circular model of reusable packaging with its robust portfolio of plastic containers, pallets, bins, crates and more. We focus on optimizing the flow of perishables, eliminating waste at every turn – product, packaging, labor and transportation waste. Our reusable plastic products improve the quality of product delivered, create more efficient supply chains, and are more sustainable than single-use packaging.

For our logistics team we are currently recruiting a motivated Sr. Transport Planner that can be located in Italy, Belgium, Schelle (hybrid position) as well as remotely in Spain.

Position Purpose As a Transport Planner, you manage transport planning for your assigned regions and support other areas in Europe. You optimize routes, reduce costs, and collaborate with partners to enhance logistics and customer satisfaction across our European operations.

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for the transport planning of our assets primarily within the regions assigned to you, as well as back-up for other regions in Europe.
• You liaise with our logistical partners and internal stakeholders.
• You optimize routes and transport, reducing freight spend and carbon footprint.
• You proactively work towards maximizing our service level, customer satisfaction and achieving departmental and personal objectives.
• As Transport Planner, you are part of an enthusiastic European team that works together on the continuous improvement and optimization of our logistics across Europe.

Education and experience

• You obtained training as an industrial clerk, office management assistant or acquired equivalent knowledge through experience in a Customer Support position. Motivation, passion for transportation and logistics, and the ability to learn are more important than years of experience.

Skills

• For Belgium role : Excellent Dutch & English skills, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Spanish / Italian / French / German is considered a plus. For Spain : excellent Spanish and English, both written and spoken
• You are well organized, and you take care of your administration in a transparent and efficient way.
• You show initiative and you have a healthy level of self-confidence.
• You have thorough knowledge of the MS Office applications with a focus on Excel.
• You are an enthusiastic team player, and you bring a positive attitude to the entire Tosca team.
