Description

The Transport Team is responsible for developing and planning the transport strategy and system for a hospitality programme at an event. This includes sourcing and contracting transport suppliers, researching and drafting all transport routes, and preparing transport contingency plans and driver training.

Roles are available starting from October 2025. These are contract roles until March 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in pre-event planning and preparation of all transport systems.
• Develop comprehensive geographical knowledge of the area and various routes.
• Assist in establishing an efficient and effective coach transport system, including emergency plans.
• Produce event time manuals, including transport operations manual, route maps, and incident & accident logs for drivers and transport teams.
• Assist in managing all on-site transport operations.
• Work with senior management to develop the transport schedule.
• Build effective working relationships with all suppliers.
• Devise and manage coach loading and dispatch systems during the event.
• Understand security procedures and collaborate with the client Security Team to implement safeguards in transport planning.
• Ensure drivers and hosts are familiar with vehicle safety aspects.
• Prepare roster plans for drivers and the transport team, ensuring adequate breaks between shifts.
• Understand event procedures and protocols.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:

• Fluent in Italian and English.
• Experience in transport logistics.
• Team and driver management experience.
• Excellent IT skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint; comfortable with various platforms and devices.
• Project management skills; strong written and verbal communication skills.
