European Investment Bank (EIB) in Luxembourg invites applications for a Transaction Processing Officer. This full-time role sits in the Finance Directorate and combines back-office operations with data analytics and emerging technologies, including AI and DLT.

You will handle end-to-end processing, drive improvements, and collaborate with Front Office, Risk, Legal, IT and Data teams to build automated, resilient processes.

Competenze

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Data Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial operations or back office.
• Strong analytical mindset and data handling.
• Understanding of financial products and loan documentation.
• Knowledge of automation, AI or data science use cases.
• Experience with Python, SQL and data visualization like Power BI.

Mansioni

• Execute end-to-end processing of lending portfolio transactions.
• Ensure timely confirmations, settlements and lifecycle event management.
• Perform controls to reduce operational, financial and reputational risk.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of control frameworks, particularly in increasingly automated environments.
• Analyse operational data to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
• Develop dashboards, reports and KPIs to monitor performance and operational risk.
• Identify and implement automation initiatives and AI solutions.
• Contribute to the analysis and implementation of DLT-based settlement and post-trade solutions.
• Translate operational and regulatory needs into clear, structured business requirements.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Risk, Legal, IT, Data and Innovation teams.
