Do you have an interest in developing people and improving shop floor training? Join Vestas and contribute to the future of sustainable energy.

We are looking for two Training Experts, one for Handling & Logistics and one for Finish & Paint in our manufacturing area. You will be responsible for creating and improving training programs and materials for factory employees, with an emphasis on practical learning and process understanding.

Your Responsibilities

  • Design and update training materials for your focus area (Handling & Logistics or Finish & Paint).
  • Analyze current training practices and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop training roadmaps and plans aligned with production needs.
  • Work with engineers and specialists to translate technical processes into clear and practical training content.
  • Ensure training meets internal standards, safety requirements, and ISO (International Organization for Standardization) guidelines.
  • Support continuous improvement using Lean tools such as:
  • 5 Whys - a technique to find the root cause of a problem by asking "why" five times.
  • Fishbone Diagram (also called Ishikawa Diagram) - a tool to identify and visualize causes of a specific issue.
  • Gather feedback from trainees and continuously improve training programs.
  • Spend time in the factory to fully understand the processes and challenges.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
  • Certified in Train-the-Trainer (a method for teaching future instructors how to deliver effective training).
  • 6-8 years of experience developing training programs for factory or shop floor workers.
  • Experience planning and delivering training to large groups (up to 100 people).
  • Comfortable working in an organized, multicultural manufacturing environment.

Key Skills

  • Knowledge of the understanding of adult learning principles.
  • Experience with LMS (Learning Management Systems) - platforms used to manage and deliver training programs.
  • Familiarity with digital training tools or e-learning formats.
