DLA Piper in Rome is seeking a Trainee Lawyer to join our Investment Management and Funds e Financial Services team. You will support Partners and Lawyers in advising Italian and international asset managers on funds formation and governance, with exposure to real estate, private equity, venture capital and private debt.

You will gain hands-on experience in financial services regulation matters across asset management, banking, insurance, and payments, while developing your Italian and English

Competenze

• Law degree with great academic results.
• Candidates will preferably sit for the first session of Italian Bar Exam in 2027.
• Excellent communication and drafting skills in Italian and English.
• Minimum 6 months' experience in alternative investment funds financial services regulation matters is preferred.
• Service minded, organized and able to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Energetic and entrepreneurial mind-set; team player.

We are seeking to hire a talented and ambitious Trainee Lawyer to join our Investment Management and Funds e Financial Services team in Rome. You will have the opportunity to support Partners and Lawyers of the team in advising Italian and international asset management companies in the formation and management of alternative investment funds of all asset classes (real estate, private equity, venture capital and private debt), as well as institutional investors in their alternative investments. The team also advises clients regarding the layout of the governance system, the internal control system, policies and practices concerning remuneration and incentives, and the self-assessment process of governing bodies. You will deal with financial services regulation matters in relation to a wide scope of sectors, such as asset management, banking, insurance, investment services, payment services, electronic money and cryptocurrencies.
