Role Overview

As a Trade Marketeer in Italy, you will be responsible for executing and implementing marketing and trade marketing initiatives to support LW's value and volume ambitions within the country.

You will serve as a key link between Core EMEA Marketing and local Sales Execution, ensuring alignment on key priorities.

Deep understanding of Business and Route to Market is essential to support both Pull and Push initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Ensure consistent deployment and execution of EMEA marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  2. Deploy local campaigns in line with EMEA Marketing guidelines.
  3. Improve the effectiveness of all Sales Funnel steps to generate qualified leads.
  4. Enable and equip the sales team for consultative selling to become preferred partners to customers.
  5. Collaborate with the Marketing and Sales Managers to build and implement PULL & PUSH trade marketing plans and activations in Italy.
  6. Contribute to the long-term Route to Market strategy and develop initiatives in focus segments.
  7. Coordinate timing of launches and campaigns with customers and sales teams.
  8. Support the development of the country’s Annual Operating Plan.
  9. Identify opportunities to enhance customer engagement across regions.
  10. Stay informed on market trends, industry standards, and competitor activities.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Marketing Communication, or Category Management.
  2. 3-5 years of marketing experience in the Foodservice sector in Italy; FMCG experience is a plus.
  3. Understanding of channels and customer needs.
  4. Experience working within matrix organizations and strong negotiation skills.
  5. Fluency in English; knowledge of other European languages is beneficial.
  6. Strong communication skills.
  7. Willingness to travel within Italy and to the Netherlands; flexibility is essential.
