About the role

As a Trade Marketeer in Italy, you will be responsible for executing and implementing marketing and trade marketing initiatives to support LW's value and volume ambitions within the country.

You will serve as a key link between Core EMEA Marketing and local Sales Execution, facilitating alignment on key priorities.

Deep understanding of business operations and Route to Market strategies is essential to support both Pull and Push initiatives.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure consistent deployment and execution of EMEA marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Implement local campaigns in accordance with EMEA marketing guidelines.
  • Enhance the effectiveness of all sales funnel stages to generate qualified leads.
  • Enable and train the sales team in consultative selling to strengthen customer relationships.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager and Country Sales Manager to develop and execute PULL & PUSH trade marketing plans and activations in Italy.
  • Contribute to the long-term Route to Market strategy and develop initiatives in focus segments.
  • Coordinate timing of launches and campaigns with customers and sales teams.
  • Assist in developing the country’s Annual Operating Plan alongside the marketing team and sales managers.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer engagement across regions.
  • Stay informed on market trends, industry standards, and competitor activities.

Candidate profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Marketing Communication, or Category Management.
  • 3-5 years of marketing experience in the Foodservice sector within Italy; FMCG experience is a plus.
  • Understanding of channels and customer needs.
  • Experience working within matrix organizations and strong negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of other European languages is beneficial.
  • Willingness to travel within Italy and to the Netherlands; flexibility is required.
