TRADE COMPLIANCE SPECIALIST - ASPETTI DOGANALI

We are seeking a Trade Compliance Specialist – Aspetti Doganali for a leading consulting and training company specializing in international trade support. The position is based in Verona Centro.

Responsibilities
  • Provide consultancy to clients on customs matters.
  • Gather client requests, analyze current regulations, and offer advice on customs issues.
  • Classify goods for customs, determine origin (non-preferential and preferential), and issue related documents (C.O., EUR.1, Authorized Exporter, REX, supplier declaration).
  • Calculate duties, assess customs value, verify documents, and manage import/export requirements and special customs regimes.
  • Handle import/export procedures, coordinate with freight forwarders, and verify customs declarations.
  • Manage Incoterms and international transport documents (CMR, Bill of Lading, AWB).
  • Verify VAT exemptions in intra-EU, extra-EU transactions, and triangulations.
  • Provide consultancy on CBAM and deforestation regulations (EUDR).
  • Advise on labeling and compliance requirements for market entry.
Your Profile

The ideal candidate will have solid experience in customs and the following qualifications:

  • Degree in Law, Political Science, or Economics.
  • At least 3-4 years of customs experience in companies, consulting firms, freight forwarders, legal firms, or CAD.
  • Proficiency in English (minimum B2 level); knowledge of a second foreign language is a plus.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, precision, autonomy, and teamwork spirit.
