Michigan Automotive Compressor, Inc. (MACI) is seeking a Tool and Die Maker to join our team. You will use blueprints to determine project specifications, set up and operate machine tools, finish and adjust parts, and test tools to ensure quality standards are met.

Excellent mechanical and mathematical skills are required, along with a journeyman’s card or 5 years related experience. This 2nd shift role offers opportunities for growth in a world-class manufacturer of air conditioning compressors.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Journeyman’s card or 5 years documented related experience in the trade.
• Excellent visual accuracy.
• Excellent technical skills, with the ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot mechanical problems.
• Basic mathematical skills, with the ability to mentally add, subtract, divide and multiply.
• 2nd Shift.

Mansioni

• Troubleshooting of all stamping dies, die cast molds, injection rubber/nylon molds
• Repair and maintenance of all stamping dies, die cast molds, injection rubber/nylon molds and tooling to support production needs
• Assist with Quality Circle activities within the die maintenance teams
• Assist production when required
