Un'azienda innovativa nel settore aerospaziale cerca un ingegnere termomeccanico AIT per gestire l'integrazione e i test di complessi sistemi spaziali. Questa posizione offre l'opportunità di lavorare su satelliti scientifici e infrastrutture orbitali, dalla fase di assemblaggio iniziale fino al lancio. Il candidato ideale avrà una solida formazione in ingegneria meccanica o aeronautica, con competenze in software CAD e un atteggiamento orientato al lavoro di squadra. Un contratto permanente è offerto, con possibilità di viaggi a lungo termine per campagne di test ambientali.

Competenze

  • Richiesta esperienza in ingegneria meccanica o aerospaziale.
  • Conoscenza di software CAD 3D e Microsoft Office è fondamentale.

THERMO MECHANICAL AIT ENGINEER

About us

The unit of “Mechanical and Environment, MGSE Definition and Operations” within the Turin AIT center is responsible for mechanical integration and testing of complex systems such as scientific satellites and orbital infrastructure as well as relevant MGSE items definition and procurement. In addition, the department is also responsible for environmental test campaign organization and relevant test facilities selections. For this department, we are looking for a: “Thermo-mechanical AIT Engineer”

About the job

In this job, you will be organizing and conducting Thermo-mechanical AIT integration and environmental test activities on complex systems such as Scientific Satellites or Orbital Infrastructure from the initial assembly phase, the environmental test campaign up to the launch:

  1. Defining the MGSE procurement technical requirements
  2. Defining, organizing, and conducting mechanical integration activities on spacecraft (e.g. units mechanical integration, structure assembly, module mating, etc.)
  3. Preparing detailed step-by-step procedures for all mechanical integration activities and environmental test execution as well as Work Items and Reports.
  4. Performing MGSE packing/unpacking and assembly/disassembly activities
  5. Supporting the Mechanical AIT System Engineer in the mechanical AIT activities flow definition, detailed planning definition, and activities rescheduling when necessary.
  6. Performing co-engineering activities with other departments to define S/C configuration, accessibility for integration activities, and testing.
  7. Supporting the project engineering team in the major review with customers and subcontractors.
  8. Supporting the Mechanical AIT System in the preparation of Environmental test and Launch campaign including the relevant transport organization.
  9. Coordinating the Clean Room activities, particularly harmonizing the activities shared with other company departments (e.g. production)
  10. Performing the periodical MGSE maintenance activities and verifying that all required certificates and proof validations are fine for the activities to be performed.
  11. Supporting the alignment test campaign conduction.

About You

Education and experience

  1. Diploma in mechanical/aeronautical or Bachelor degree in Aerospace / Mechanical / Industrial Engineering.
  2. Good knowledge of the English language.
  3. Previous experience in thermo-mechanical AIT and/or mechanical manufacturing on Aerospace systems (Satellites and Space Modules) is an advantage.
  4. Basic knowledge of the French language is an advantage.

Skills and knowledge

Basic knowledge of the following computer applications:

  1. Windows-based applicable SW; Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
  2. 3D CAD model managing (SolidWorks, CATIA, Dassault SW)

  1. Ability/attitude for “manual” work (Integration and testing set-up preparation)
  2. Capability to organize the activities with different priorities
  3. Organized and methodical approach
  4. Attitude to withstand a stressing environment
  5. Teamwork attitude
  6. Availability to work in shifts and over the weekend if requested
  7. Availability for possible long-term business travel (for environmental test campaign)
