Argotec is seeking a Thermal Engineer to design and validate the spacecraft Thermal Control System across the full product lifecycle, from early architecture to testing. You will work within the Mechanical and Thermal Engineering Unit and contribute to electronic, propulsion, and optical subsystems’ thermal design.
You will drive thermal activities in multidisciplinary teams, support AIT in ISO7 cleanroom, and manage relationships with suppliers and customers.
To support our Company’s growth, we are looking for a Thermal Engineer to join our Mechanical and Thermal Engineering Unit. You will contribute to the design and development of Thermal Control Systems (TCS) for spacecraft, as well as performing thermal design for electronic, propulsion and optical subsystems. This role offers the opportunity to be involved in all phases of the mission, from preliminary design to testing.
We foster a collaborative environment where every Argonaut can contribute with their ideas and expertise, create meaningful value together, and transform feedback and mistakes into opportunities for learning and innovation, growing both professionally and personally, as individuals and as a team.
As a Thermal Engineer, you will play a key role as both thermal architect and analyst, contributing to the definition, development and validation of the spacecraft Thermal Control System (TCS) across the entire product lifecycle. You will be responsible for the end-to-end thermal design, from early-phase architecture definition and trade-offs to detailed thermal modelling, analysis and test correlation. You will drive thermal activities within multidisciplinary teams, ensuring consistency between thermal design, mechanical integration and AIT constraints.
The activities will include (but are not limited to):
