Location: South Italy region

Role: Therapy and Business Development Consultant

Responsibilities:

• Establish Impella & Heart Recovery as the new standard of care in South Italy.
• Train MDs & hospital staff on the appropriate use of Impella.
• Leverage existing accounts for broader Impella therapy penetration and build relationships with key decision-makers and KOLs.
• Manage accounts, coordinate clinical activities, and implement training programs to expand physician skills and Impella adoption.
• Provide onsite support for elective cases, support patient implant procedures, and conduct bedside visits in ICU-CCU.
• Improve patient outcomes by supporting clinical staff and sharing best practices.
• Monitor activity and collect relevant clinical data from institutions with active Impella programs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distribution partners.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Biomedical Engineering, Bioengineering, or a relevant technical field.
• Proficiency in English.
• At least 2 years of experience in medical devices, preferably in cardiovascular space or heart failure.
• Experience in direct patient support in Cath Lab, ICU, or CCU preferred.
• Proven success in launching high-value therapies and achieving growth.
• Established relationships with Interventional Cardiologists and Cath Lab staff in South Italy preferred.
• Willingness to support physicians and patients at any time.
• Availability for regional travel (80%+).
