Descrizione del lavoro

Roboze is building the Physical AI backbone for autonomous manufacturing in strategic industries.

Every era of progress has been defined by how societies build. From steel and electricity to automation and digitalization, industrial capability has always determined what nations can achieve.

Today, defense, aerospace, energy, transportation and critical infrastructure require a new generation of manufacturing infrastructure: autonomous, distributed, resilient and qualified.

Roboze combines advanced production systems, high-performance materials, process intelligence and autonomous manufacturing software to enable the localized production of mission‑critical components at an industrial scale.

At Roboze, we hire the best talent and provide people with the right approach, methods and tools to make a difference. We encourage everyone to make decisions with the growth of the entire company in mind, not just that of an individual team or department. For us, success is the result of the quality of our daily work.

Results give us the strength to grow as a company and as a team.

Position Overview

We are looking for a Master’s student in Mechanical Engineering to join our Testing & Validation team for a six‑month internship and/or Master’s thesis project.

The successful candidate will support the verification and validation of machines, components, printing profiles and new firmware releases. The role will involve preparing and performing experimental tests on machines and prototypes, collecting and analysing test data, and assessing the performance and behaviour of the systems under evaluation.

This is a hands‑on opportunity involving direct interaction with machines, components and measurement systems, combined with data analysis and the preparation of technical documentation.

We are looking for someone with a solid engineering foundation, a methodical approach to testing, a genuine interest in working directly with machines and prototypes, and a strongly proactive attitude towards assigned activities.

What your tasks will be
  • Support the preparation and execution of testing and validation activities on machines, subsystems and components, contributing to the assessment of their performance, behaviour and compliance with defined requirements.
  • Participate in the validation of printing profiles, materials, process parameters and new firmware releases by observing machine behaviour and contributing to the analysis of test results.
  • Prepare experimental test setups and use measurement instruments and sensors.
  • Collect, organise and verify data generated during testing activities.
  • Analyse experimental data to identify trends, deviations, anomalies and correlations between measured variables.
  • Support comparative testing across different machine configurations, components and operating conditions.
  • Contribute to troubleshooting activities by analysing machine, acquired measurements and test conditions.
  • Contribute to the preparation of technical reports, test procedures and documentation related to Testing & Validation activities.
  • Collaborate with the different teams involved in product development, testing and validation.
What we’re Looking For
  • Current enrolment in a Master’s degree program in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Knowledge of mechanical engineering, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics and materials engineering.
  • Strong interest in additive manufacturing and in the operation of industrial machines and systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
  • Knowledge of data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel and MATLAB or Octave.
  • Accuracy, a methodical approach to testing and attention to detail when preparing technical documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • A proactive attitude, the ability to work independently on assigned activities and the willingness to propose further analyses or potential solutions.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
What we’ll offer to you
  • A six‑month internship and/or Master’s thesis project within our Testing & Validation team.
  • A monthly expense reimbursement of €800.
  • Meal vouchers.
  • An additional monthly allowance of €100 if the intern’s registered domicile is at least 100 km from the workplace.
  • A fully on‑site experience at our Bari headquarters, working directly with machines, prototypes and advanced additive manufacturing technologies.
  • Hands‑on training and continuous support from experienced professionals.
  • The opportunity to contribute to real testing and validation activities within an innovative and international technology company.
  • Extraordinary opportunities for professional growth, cross‑functional collaboration and continuous learning.
  • A young, agile, inclusive and international working environment where everyone is encouraged to reach their full potential.
  • A concrete opportunity to gain technical experience in industrial additive manufacturing and contribute to the development of next‑generation production systems.
Who we are looking for
  • People who want to make their mark: brilliant, determined and forward‑thinking minds.
  • Enthusiastic, courageous and ambitious people who enjoy working as part of a team.
  • People who think big and act quickly without being afraid to make mistakes.
  • People who are ready to face challenges with energy and determination while demonstrating an entrepreneurial and digital mindset.
