Roboze is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join the Technical Department, leading the design of mechatronic systems from concept to production launch.

You will collaborate with Electrical, Software, R&D and Production teams to deliver robust solutions while ensuring adherence to Machinery Directives and quality processes.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• At least 5+ years designing complex mechanical systems and leading engineering projects.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks/AutoCAD and FEM/CFD analysis.

Position Overview

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be part of our Technical Department and play a key role in all stages of product development - from concept and design through to manufacturing and production launch.

What your tasks will be

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design new mechatronic systems and devices or enhance existing technologies.
• Oversee technical development in line with internal processes, proposing and implementing both custom and commercial solutions that meet project requirements — with a primary focus on mechanical design while interfacing with other departments (Electrical and Software Engineering, New Technologies & Testing, R&D, Production, and Procurement).
• Define assembly and testing procedures to ensure product quality and consistency.
• Create, review, and maintain technical documentation, including purchase specifications, testing procedures, and calculation reports.
• Manage troubleshooting activities for issues arising from the installed fleet in collaboration with Customer Care and Product Continuous Improvement, as well as during assembly stages with Manufacturing Engineering.
• Ensure compliance with design standards and safety regulations in accordance with the Machinery Directive.

What we’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in the design of complex mechanical systems and in leading innovative engineering projects.
• Proficiency in mechanical design software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and FEM analysis tools.
• Strong command of calculation and simulation tools (finite element structural analysis; CFD is a plus).
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to define technical specifications with precision.
• Strong awareness of cost efficiency and industrialization implications of design choices.
• Proven experience managing technical documentation and BOMs within Product Data Management (PDM) systems, with attention to revision control.
• Demonstrated ability to follow the full innovation process from concept to production.
• Solid understanding of Machinery Directives and relevant European and North American regulations.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
