Job description

Our Manufacturing team is seeking a Testing Technician at the Porto Sant’ Elpidio headquarters. The technician will focus on Fiber Optic Gyroscope system testing, calibration, and acceptance testing, ensuring the reliability and precision of systems used in critical applications.

Responsibilities include:

1. Testing and Calibration: Operating calibration machines to test inertial measurement systems, electronic boards, and subassemblies, ensuring compliance with performance standards.
2. Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving issues during testing, investigating discrepancies or malfunctions.
3. Data Recording and Analysis: Documenting test results accurately for analysis and reporting.
4. Creating Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP): Drafting ATP documents to validate system readiness for delivery.
5. Standards Compliance: Ensuring testing procedures meet industry standards, especially for aerospace, defense, and industrial sectors.
6. Collaboration and Reporting: Working with engineering, QA, and production teams, providing updates, and reporting issues.
7. Documentation: Maintaining detailed records of tests and adjustments.
8. Safety and Quality: Following safety protocols and quality measures during testing.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High School Diploma in technical/electronics field.
• Knowledge of electronics and informatics.
• Experience with laboratory instruments (oscilloscope, multimeter, etc.).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Problem-solving attitude and result-oriented mindset.
• English proficiency (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
