As a Testing Engineer, you will be responsible for executing unit validation tests, inspections, and data acquisition to validate products and services. You will evaluate running parameters, troubleshoot system problems, and draw up accurate testing reports. You will serve as the entry point for engineering and testing teams concerning technical issues and interface with all involved functions and suppliers. You will actively participate in MFG-ENG design review processes.

You will support the reliability of testing assets and proactively assist Baker Hughes customers (internal and external). You will support the design and construction of new test facilities, instrumentation systems, and develop test software, providing ideas for test bench activities development and improvement. Reading technical documentation and coordinating activities on test benches to ensure safety and compliance with environmental health & safety (HSE) guidelines is essential. You will collaborate on test schedules, providing detailed information.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 2 years of experience in Engineering/Technology or a minimum of 2 additional years of testing experience).
• Knowledge of turbomachinery operation
• Mechanical processing knowledge
• Oil & Gas products knowledge
• Understanding of rotating equipment philosophy (centrifugal compressors) and their auxiliaries
• Ability to understand and implement technical drawings (test procedures, wiring diagrams, P&ID, General Arrangement, etc.)
• Fluency in English and Italian
