Alstom in Lombardy seeks a test technician to conduct type, validation and investigation tests, and to prepare clear reports. You will define the most appropriate testing methodology and make sure testing means meet cost and time criteria.

You will develop test operating modes, analyze results, prepare test installations and pre-requisites, and support calibration and instrumentation readiness for the tests. Alstom is an equal opportunity employer.

• They prepare/secure test installations and pre requisites

Accountable for:

• Defining the most appropriate test methodology, testing means and developing the test operating mode in accordance with the costs time and pass-fail criterion set for the test.
• Depending on the test environment, they prepare instrumentation and setups (HW, SW) for the test

Responsible for:

• Preparing the execution and necessary setup of the tests thy are responsible for
• Participating in the design and the development of the tools necessary for performing the tests
• Implementing, verifying (functional), and ensuring compliance (calibration) of the measuring equipment to be ready at the time of the test
• Preparing the equipment for testing. Validating that the applied configuration and prerequisite testing allows the testing to proceed
• Respecting EHS rules notably implementing LockOut-TagOut instruction
• Supervising and/or executing test activities, analyzing test results “live” and deciding if test must be redone or not
• Test results data analysis, writing static and dynamic test reports and opening test problem reports
• Preparing and supporting the configuration readiness for the functional test means when applicable
