Alstom is seeking a Test & Commissioning Engineer/Technician to execute field testing and commissioning activities on railway signalling systems across multiple projects in Italy. The role is based at Bari, Bologna or Rome sites, working under defined procedures and supervision.

You will identify defects, calibrate tools, and replace faulty equipment while ensuring adherence to EHS and project timelines. A proactive, safety‑minded engineer with field experience is preferred.

Competenze

Purpose of the Job

Execute test and commissioning activities on field in support to one or several Projects

Key Accountabilities

• Execute testing activities:in support to one or several Projects on railway signalling systems under the direction of his / her hierarchyaccording to the testing procedure / documentation and following Subsystem TC Engineer a/o Leader instructionsEnsure defects identification and correction (trouble shooting) Check that the test tools are in perfect working order and calibrated.Replace defective equipment and ensure its repair in accordance with the procedures in forceIn the event of a non-conformity observed during the commissioning phase, make a return experience (REX) towards the project, and ensure that all design related issues are correctly reported in the adequate tools, including the defect description and associated test contextDeliver the committed performance in terms of Quality, Costs and Deadlines and in compliance with Alstom policies, local standards and regulations (in particular EHS and Railway Safety)

Performance Measurement

• Efficiency and proactivity during the execution of the TC testsCompliance to EHS (Zero Deviation) and Regulatory standardsQuality of anticipation, monitoring and reporting
